  3. This document provides information on the configuration of EarthLink version 2.5 for Mac OS 7.6.1 - Mac OS 9, and EarthLink Version 2.5.1 for Mac OS X.

  8. Your EarthLink software contains two separate components: EarthLink (version 2.5) for Mac OS 7.6.1 - MacOS 9, and EarthLink (version 2.5.1) for Mac OS X.

  10. You can have both versions of the EarthLink software on your hard drive at the same time, but they must be installed and configured independently. Configuring your EarthLink for Mac OS X software does NOT configure your EarthLink software for any other Mac OS versions, and vice-versa.

  12. •    EarthLink for Mac OS 7.6.1 - Mac OS 9 must be installed, configured, and run while
  13.         you are running Mac OS 7.6.1 - Mac OS 9. It will NOT install, configure, or run
  14.         correctly on Mac OS X (even in "Classic" mode).

  16. •     EarthLink for Mac OS X, must be installed, configured, and run while you are running
  17.             Mac OS X. It will NOT install, configure, or run correctly on any other Mac OS
  18.             versions.
